The Pre-primary sections had their Poetry Recitation Competition today and the little ones strolled straight into everybody’s heart with their sweet little lisping of the lines! Actually, lisping would be the wrong word to use because many of them were crystal clear with their enunciation, surprising many like me and impressing everyone. The theme was Nature/ Environment and it was wonderful to listen to them recite short poems on trees, water, rain, the sky etc. They were judged on the criteria of Pronunciation, Voice Clarity, Props/ Costume and Relevance to Theme. The Judges, Ms. Ms. Shilpa B (DSE Banjara Hills) and Ms. Harminder Kaur ( DSE Attapur), we are sure, had a very tough time deciding on the Winners!
