Favourite Childhood Memories

Favourite Childhood Memories

Students from Grades I to X enjoyed their Assemblies immensely, the reason being the interesting topics that were set by the Assembly In-charges Ms. Ishwari Patil and Ms. Madhuri Devi Polisetty. Students of Grades I to IV had a lot of fun working on the two topics – National Symbols of India and Walls Tell Stories (Historical Monuments of India). They spent a lot of time in gainful employment, gathering information from various sources about these two topics! Not only did they personally benefit by gleaning information but also shared the information with the entire school during Assembly time, by displaying lovely PPTs they had made ,  expressing views and sharing information through motivational talks on why we should respect and protect our National Symbols and Historical Monuments. They explained to the gathering that these represent our glorious Past, diverse Culture and rich Traditions which should be preserved for posterity!

Students of Grades V to X had an equally enjoyable time, stimulating their gray cells for content on the challenging topic – .  “A good friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have”. They loved the topic and spoke from their hearts, expressing their views on this topic that is so close to their hearts! Some of the more enterprising ones even made lovely PPTs using impressive and apt quotes to showcase their regard and affection for their special “Friends” who are so dear to them! The other topic – Favourite Childhood Memories – had many takers. The students regaled us with fascinating anecdotes of their childhoods. Many of their talks brought smiles to our faces. For this topic too, many students had displayed PPT presentations that were totally entertaining! We must commend the two Assembly  In- charges for setting them topics which they could ‘connect’ with and strike a ‘rapport’.
