National Pollution Control Day

National Pollution Control Day is observed annually on 2nd December to remember the people who lost lives during the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. It is also the day to raise awareness about the hazards of pollution and with  the main objective of making people aware, spread awareness in the industries that cause various pollution like water, air, soil, noise and affect the environment and its consequent impact on health. Delhi School of Excellence, Manikonda conducted a special assembly on the occasion of National Pollution Control Day on 2nd December, 2021. The students of grade 1 to 9 actively prepared and participated in various activities giving out the message to save Earth from pollution. A strong message was passed through the presentations and activities about the importance of saving nature.
