Chowmahalla Palace

Students od DSE Manikonda of grades 5-7 were taken for a heritage walk to see the renowned Chowmohalla palace in the old city of Hyderabad.
Children were mesmerised by the beautiful gardens and appreciated the monument's construction. They were amazed to see the Vintage car collection on display. The palace crockery and costumes gave us an insight on the daily lives of the royalty.
The hallways were decorated with the paintings and elegant chandeliers.
The section where weaponry was laid out has drawn our special attention. The intricate designs on the clock tower too were a sight to remember.
We are looking forward to more such visits to the heritage sites in the city.
