KINDERGARTEN- Catching them Young

The Pre Primary aims to nurture each child’s potential, through love, care and encouragement. The early years have a crucial influence on later development and learning. Early childhood foundation makes a great difference to the future achievements of children. Whether our children become self-motivated learners and face the world with confidence, depends to a great extent on the stimulation, guidance and nurturing they receive early in life.

Theme based competitions are held every month to build the confidence of learners. Field trips to interesting places are organized regularly. Special days are celebrated with great pomp and show throughout the year.

Each day is a special day. Each day brings in its wake something special and intriguing. Well! This is what our Pre – Primary children understand when they step into the corridors of DSE.

Children of Pre-Primary, celebrated ‘Blue Colour Day’ on 7th September, 2018.They were attractively dressed in different shades of blue and displayed their art work related to blue colour. Each section did a different activity. The background was beautifully decorated with blue coloured ribbons, balloons and peacock. A few blue balloons were filled with water. The atmosphere was filled with kid’s laughter when the balloons were burst on the floor.

Family Day gives family members and their children a chance to spend quality time with their loved ones by participating in fun activities together.

DSE Pre-Primary celebrated Family day on 11th August, 2018.  Laughter and gaiety was the over-all mood of everyone present there. It was a time for families to relax, socialize and enjoy the bustling music, electrifying dances and exciting games.

The Celebration started with cultural programmes which included dances & song presented by PP students. This was followed by the toe taping Dandia Dance Competitions for couples. Then, all the parents & grandparents sportively participated in games along with kids. Prizes were given away to the winners. The celebration ended with National Anthem.

The Pre - Primary Children of DSE Manikonda had a very active, colourful and fun filled Red-Colour Day. They came attired in a red coloured dress, carrying a red coloured object. Each PP grade had a healthy discussion of all the objects that were brought.  Subsequent to which all the PP children gathered in one place to participate in different activities. The activities ended with the children bursting red balloons which they enjoyed the most.
Eid-ul-Fitr, the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love, was celebrated by the Pre-Primary section on 18th June, 2018.  All the little ones came dressed in colourful outfits.  There was a dance performance by teachers and later they spoke about the significance of Ramzan and how Eid is celebrated. The students shared delicious Sevaiyan- a festive dish especially prepared for Eid. They made beautiful greeting cards as takeaways for their parents. We were happy to see the display of affection by the children with their friends and teachers as they wished each other Eid Mubarak.”
Pre-Primary teachers of DSE Manikonda planned to make the initial days of each child a memorable one. Something that they would cherish for a long a time to come.             The children were ecstatic as they saw a beach like ambience with umbrellas, beach balls, mini pools and sand to play in the school campus. Sipping on refreshing drinks, the  children bonded as they played and frolicked in the pool. The entire campus resounded with gleeful laughter as they splashed water on each other and looked pretty in their colourful costumes.
